About JD

J.D. Hughes, Ed.S., has been teaching elementary physical education since 1995 in Douglasville, GA. Along with teaching full time, J.D. also works as an educational consultant for PE2theMax, LLC, presenting at state, district and national conventions as well as conducting staff development workshops for school districts across the nation. J.D. is a National Board Certified Teacher; holds a Master’s and Education Specialist’s degree in Health and PE from the State University of West Georgia; and a BS degree in Health and PE from Kennesaw State University.
