Description
The object of the game is to spell as many sight words within the time limit to determine your team’s level of accomplishment.
To Begin: On the teacher’s signal, each team will look at the Scooter Scavenger Spelling Bee Card and select any word from the list to spell. One driver from each group will then perform the specific scooter skill given by the teacher (see Scooter Skills Galore from No Standing Around in My Gym for examples of scooter skills) by driving around the track in the same direction as all other drivers. Drivers, once they complete a full lap and return home (hula hoop) and park their scooters beside their hoop, are allowed to go to the center and select one Scrabble letter (See Figure 2).
