OBJECTIVE: This whacky game, created by my great friend and colleague Mickey Eidson that he derived from an old-school TV show reinforces spatial awareness, using the forehand, backhand, and overhand paddle striking skills for accuracy, and eye-hand coordination. PaddleStar Galactica will test each student’s accuracy by challenging them to hit and destroy various targets before the time elapses. -
This bundle contains 69 Physical Education essential questions and 26 Vocabulary Words to be posted on my word wall in the gymnasium. Each EQ and Word Wall (WW) will be discussed and/or illustrated at some point during the physical education year. I felt that each of these EQs and vocabulary words should be incorporated into my curriculum and covered to ensure a balance of learning in my physical education class. I believe these EQs and words will make a significant difference in building students’ background knowledge and comprehension. Each EQ and Vocabulary Word has been typed up on its on page. All you have to do is print them out. -
The Physical Education Teacher Check Up or Assessment can be used as a formal or informal test to determine student comprehension/understanding of the skills and concepts covered during the school year and/or to help the physical education teacher determine strengths and weaknesses in his or her program. I personally use this Check Up to help me figure out areas where I need to go back and review, improve or revamp for the next school year. The file is in a Word Document so that you can manipulate it by modifying, adding or deleting questions/comments to meet your physical education objectives. -

As I approach the end of my career, I look back at my teaching evolution from being a scared, young educator, with no idea how to really teach children, to a veteran author-teacher-mentor who truly loves the physical education profession. None of which would be possible if it had not been for the passionate teachers who came before me and shared with me their joy and expertise. If you have ever tried any of my games or participated in any of my staff development/workshops, I pray that you saw my heart for physical education and children and that my passion came across through what I shared and presented. So, it is with great joy to share with you my final publication, PE2theMax's Greatest Hits: Games Created to Maximize Skills, Participation, Teamwork, and Fun! Although it was extremely hard, I went back through all six of my books and selected my all-time favorite, most popular creations to share with you in one edition. Nonverbal cues are a great time management tool I often times implement in physical education to avoid disrupting the flow of learning when instruction is being given. Implementing the nonverbal cues allows me to quickly address and alleviate many problems instead of stopping the class, addressing the problem, and re-starting the class. For example, I’m demonstrating a skill and I notice a student who is talking to a friend; instead of calling them out and disrupting class, I simply make eye contact with that student and do the “cut it out” cue without hindering my demonstration.
